With the recent retire announcement of Jacksonville Rep. Ander Crenshaw, Republicans are willing to throw just about anyone into the election ring—even ex-NFL quarterback Tim Tebow.

Conservative website Red Alert Politics has been ramping up support for Tebow as a legitimate political candidate over the past two days.

"Not only has he been a hero and a model of character for millions, he has also used the money he made through football to start the Tim Tebow Foundation, and his foundation is making a real impact, especially in Florida," the young fanbo... ahem... conservatives argue.

And it's not like Tebow is even ruling it out.

While golfing with Ainsley Earhardt two weeks ago, the Fox & Friends host asked Tebow about this crazy election and if there was any hope he would run.

“If there’s a chance you can make a difference someday in something, then that would be intriguing,” Tebow responded.

Tebow could become the youngest member of Congress at 28, but for now he'll just continue to focus on his charity organization based out of Jacksonville.
