National survey: Publix is second only to Wegmans in customer satisfaction

In a bit of news that put us in mind of the iconic Avis "We Try Harder" ad campaign, Market Information announced Friday that a survey of 10,000 shoppers nationwide placed Central Florida's own Publix Supermarkets in the second spot overall for customer loyalty.

New York-based Wegmans Food Markets beat Publix for No. 1, and Trader Joe's, known for its cult-like following, came in No. 3 – a surprise upset, as the fan-favorite TJ's has come out on top the last three years in a row.



Nice work, Publix. Now don't ever change those Pub subs, OK?
