The Hideaway Bar is getting a new Prince tribute mural

The forecast calls for Purple Rain in the Ivanhood area.  

Local artist Andrew Spear is currently in the process of extending his well-known mural at the Hideaway Bar on Virginia Drive with a new tribute piece to Prince. 

Since Hideaway has built out and extended their back bathrooms, there's now some open real estate on the east and south outer walls. Spear says he plans on blending the new Prince mural with the existing piece. 

Spear told Orlando Weekly he hopes to finish the mural by Thursday, April 28.
