“I am a cop. You’re going to (expletive) jail for stealing my car,” said off-duty Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputy Tracy Weiss in a fruitless attempt to keep her truck from being towed.

According to WFLA, the incident happened last Tuesday, April 26, at the Starlight Ranch Retirement Community off Pershing Avenue.

Universal Towing told the station they had received a call from the manager of the homeowner association claiming Weiss' truck was parked in a driveway and illegally blocking a sidewalk, which is often used by people in wheelchairs.

Despite her efforts, Weiss, who's been an Orange County deputy for 11 years, paid $125 to free her truck.
