Ever since the Circle K in Mills 50 closed its doors for good last December, strange things have been afoot. Who will be moving into this busy locale? Will there be beer and snacks?

Well, the mystery has been solved.

As first reported by Brendan O'Connor at the Bungalower, a demo permit was filed earlier this week showing the new owner as "Wynwood First, LLC c/o Trevor Burgess and C1 Bank."

That's right, it's going to be a bank.

Obviously, this is bad news for local beer and snack enthusiasts, but great news for people looking to open a new checking account.
