When it comes to fancy food events, vegans get the fuzzy end of the stick – most of those dinners are Bacchanalian feasts of marrow bones and foie gras and runny French cheeses. People who don't eat animals like to get Bacchanalian once in a while, too, but they rarely have the chance. Dixie Dharma and Quantum Leap are looking to change that with this four-course prix fixe dinner. There will be wine pairings with each course, and the plates will not be laden with meat, milk, or any other animal products. Based on our experience of the Dixie Dharma menu at Market on South, however, they will be loaded with enough decadence to make anyone feel like they're living the gourmet life.

7-10 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 | Quantum Leap, 1312 Wilfred Drive | facebook.com/dixie.dharma | $50
