PETA is currently hosting a SeaWorld protest in downtown Orlando by displaying a woman in a tiny water tank dressed as an orca.

The protest is underway in the City Commons courtyard at 400 S. Orange Ave.

"We are hoping that tourists and Orlando residents will see our demonstration and visit our website and make the decision not to support SeaWorld," said Ashley Byrne, a PETA campaign specialist.

"What SeaWorld is doing to orcas and other animals is absolutely disgusting," said campaigner Katerina Davidovich. "Keeping orcas in tiny tanks that are basically the size of bathtubs is cruel and there is simply no reason for it when we have animal friendly ways of enjoying nature."

Tomorrow, SeaWorld will be debuting their latest hypercoaster Mako, which is part of their latest, most visible shift in company focus after announcing the end of their controversial orca breeding program back in March.
