Florida residents are fed up with people having sex in this park

Colohatchee Park has a problem and for once in Florida, it’s not an animal that’s hugely out of proportion, though it may involve some bears.

The New Times Broward-Palm Beach reports residents of Wilton Manors, the "second gayest city in America," are complaining about too much sex in the park, which “has been known as a cruising destination for gay men for years,” according to the weekly newspaper. One man tells the New Times he was walking his dog in the 8.5-acre community park when he saw one man giving another man a blowjob. The park has had a reputation for years as a hookup area, with one resident calling it a tourist attraction of sorts, according to South Florida Gay News

The city and residents have proposed creating more interest for people not looking for sexual rendezvous by adding a fitness trail or an expanded dog park, though at least one resident is reportedly all in for the first sex-in-public adult park, the New Times reports. We'll update you if the latter happens.
