Amphibian Lark to play Gallery at Avalon Island tonight

Amphibian Lark is Lydia Winn LeVert and Simeon Coxe (of Silver Apples). They make celestial electronic lullabies using just bass guitar, homemade electronics and LeVert's strong, crystalline voice.

Coxe is a legend amongst synth circles for his work with Silver Apples over several decades, expanding the boundaries of what is possible with electronics and oscillators in the rock format. Support comes from Unbliterati and two other touring musicians landing in Orlando for the night - Proud/Father from New Orleans and Voice Hoist from New York.

The show is at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) at the Gallery at Avalon Island.
