A South Florida man sporting the Confederate stars and bars on his van drove into an African American couple over a beach parking spot.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Lake Worth resident Donald Hicks became agitated when a couple refused to move from a parking spot they were standing in and saving for another family member.

"F*** you n*****s, don't you see what's on my truck?" Hicks yelled, according to a city police report.

Deputies say he then drove his van into the 41-year-old man and 67-year-old woman, giving them both injured knees, according to the report.

Hicks, who is facing two charges of assault with a deadly weapon, is currently in Broward County jail on a $40,000 bail.

The 38-year-old has an arrest record that includes battery on a firefighter and hitting a police dog.
