An Orlando was arrested for throwing and killing a flamingo at Busch Gardens Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities told WPLG that 45-year-old Joseph Anthony Carrao reached into an animal pen in Jambo Junction, picked up a flamingo named "Pinky" and threw it to the ground.

Pinky, a 15-year-old Chilean flamingo, was injured so badly it needed to be euthanized.

Carrao arrested and taken to the Hillsborough County Jail on charges of animal cruelty.
