Harry Potter-inspired ice cream flavors are officially a thing now that Yuengling Ice Cream has released a new Butterbeer flavor.

Since J.K. Rowling described butterbeer as "a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch," Yuengling's new "Butterbeer" ice cream flavor is made with half buttercream ice cream, half butterscotch ice cream, and is twisted together with a butterscotch swirl.

"Sickly" is clearly subjective.

"We are always looking for ways to inspire our fans and spark creativity," said president David Yuengling in a statement. "Whether it's our flavor names and descriptions or the recipes themselves – we're in the business of having fun. We hope we made J.K. Rowling proud with this flavor."

Pints of the new flavor are available today, March 20. Locals are going to have to make a trek to get it, though – the closest place to Orlando selling Yuengling's ice cream is a Harris Teeter store in Fernandina Beach, and it's unclear whether they will carry the Butterbeer flavor.
