Disney Springs is about to offer a new way to get sauced.
announced on Wednesday that their latest culinary addition, the Polite Pig, opens in the Disney Springs Town Center on Monday, April 10.
The Polite Pig is the newest concept for Orlando chefs James and Julie Petrakis, who also own the Ravenous Pig and Swine & Sons in Winter Park and Cask & Larder at the Orlando International Airport.
The couple collaborated with James Petrakis' brother Brian to create the "modern barbecue" concept, which will serve a menu fashioned with true Southern comfort, offering sides like mac and cheese, smoked corn and tomato, and watermelon salad to go with whatever roasted, smoked or braised meat your heart desires.
Besides a well-stocked bourbon bar, this Pig will also feature a sauce bar with seven different sauces on tap.
