Mark Hamill makes surprise visit to Florida Hospital in Orlando

Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, visited patients and staff at the Florida Hospital for Children yesterday.

The special appearance was a collaboration between Starlight Children’s Foundation and Lucas Films to help celebrate the unveiling of a new virtual reality program for pediatric patients.



The Star Wars leading man is currently in Orlando for the Star Wars Celebration at the Orange County Convention Center, which takes place April 13-16.

Hamill is hosting a tribute to Carrie Fisher on Friday, April 14, as well as a panel called "Hamill Himself" on Sunday, April 16.
