Longwood approves regulations to open medical marijuana dispensaries

Members of Longwood City Council unanimously confirmed regulations to approve medical marijuana dispensaries.

According to WFTV, the new regulations would require any dispensary to be more than 300 feet away from any school, daycare facility, or residential neighborhood.

Longwood will allow two dispensaries to open within city limits. Those interested must pay an initial $500 application fee and if approved must also pay a $250 administrative fee.
