Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill and her opponents in the race for the District 5 council seat will have a chance to address voters Monday night at a candidate forum.

The forum is being hosted by ONYX magazine on May 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Orange Center Elementary School, 621 S. Texas Ave. The political event will be moderated by Monica May, a radio personality at Star 94.5 FM.

Hill is running against a slew of candidates, including Jibreel Ali, Ericka Dunlap, Cynthia Harris, Ondria James, Stovelleo Stovall and Betty Gelzer. Aside from the incumbent commissioner, only Dunlap, Harris and Ali will be attending the forum on Monday.

Hill was sworn into office in 2014. Her district represents Orlando's west neighborhoods, including Parramore. For more information about tonight's forum, call 407-451-2891.
