Koo Koo Kanga Roo get an all-ages party going at the library and the Geek Easy

Ebullient Minnesota dance pop duo Koo Koo Kanga Roo don’t really consider themselves to be a children’s band, but their high-energy songs – paying adoration to everything from dinosaurs to pizza to how great moms are – create a sugar-rush buzz that’s as popular with the kindergarten crowd as it is with adult children. It’s silly, bordering on stupid, but that’s kind of the point. It’s fun. And before their evening show at the Geek Easy this week, they’re taking their act to Orlando Public Library for a show targeted at their younger fans. So drop the ego, cool guy, and get ready to dance.

2 p.m. (Orlando Public Library) & 6 p.m. (The Geek Easy) Saturday, June 3 | Orlando Public Library, 101 E. Central Blvd. | The Geek Easy, 114 S. Semoran Blvd., Winter Park | ocls.info | facebook.com/thegeekeasy | free-$8
