Outlaw country rabble-rouser Steve Earle has announced an Orlando show as part of a larger U.S. tour with his backing band the Dukes, in support of his new record So You Want to Be an Outlaw.

Earle made a splash in 1986 with his debut, Guitar Town, and throughout an alternately turbulent and triumphant career has deftly mixed music and social activism.

Steve Earle is set to play the Plaza Live on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 8 p.m. Tickets will set you back $39.50-$69.50 and go on sale Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m.
