A plane ran over and killed an 11-foot alligator at Orlando Executive Airport last week.

According to a post by Brad Pierce, a local pilot was crossing runway 7/25 in a small aircraft when the massive 500-pound gator jumped up and struck the wing.

Obviously the gator is very dead, and the plane sustained damage to the wing. The gator was reportedly killed May 30.

Pierce went on to say, "One of the craziest things I've ever seen in all my years in aviation. Welcome to Florida folks!"
