Downtown traffic is going to be epic on Saturday

Ride-sharing or carpooling is highly recommended if you are attending any of the big events taking place downtown Saturday, June 24.

At various times throughout the day, the following shows and games are happening:
  • PAW Patrol Live! at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
  • TEDxOrlando 2017 at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
  • Potterversary at the Orlando Public Library
  • Mascot Games at Amway Center
  • Orlando Pride Match at Orlando City Stadium

If you aren't trying to go to any of these events, avoiding driving in or around downtown would be a smart choice. There will be several road closures and detours – here's a list:



ROAD CLOSURES:

Detour signs will be clearly posted before and along detour routes. A detailed map of road closures and recommended routes can be found at CityofOrlando.net/notice.

Unless noted otherwise, all closures begin and end on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

Central Boulevard from Westmoreland Drive to Division Avenue
Closed for construction

Church Street from Division Avenue to Hughey Avenue
7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (or until event is clear)

Magnolia Avenue from Anderson Street to South Street
7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Church Street from Glenn Lane to South Terry Avenue
10:30 a.m. until 1 hour post game

Church Street from Westmoreland Drive to Glenn Lane
1:00 p.m. until 1 hour post game

Church Street from South Terry Avenue to Division Avenue
1:00 p.m. until 1 hour post game

Glenn Lane from Church Street to Central Boulevard
1:00 p.m. until 1 hour post game

Central Boulevard from Division Avenue Hughey Avenue
Westbound road closure from 5:15 p.m. until 1 hour post game
