Describe your sound in five words:
Sound happy but feel sadboy

Five questions:

What has been your most memorable show so far?
We were given the amazing opportunity to play to a sold out Social show opening up as direct support for The Dear Hunter. Absolutely incredible experience.

Which local band is your favorite one to play a show with?
THIS QUESTION IS SO HARD WE LOVE THEM ALL!!!
(We actually want to use this opportunity to give a shout out to the band Odessos from Daytona. I know that Daytona isn’t “local” but we feel like Orlando is the closest bigger city for them so we'll count it). The reason why we love Odessos so much (besides their incredible music) is because they have conjured the most incredible fan base we’ve ever seen from a local band. EVERYBODY is at EVERY show jumping, dancing, and singing along to every song. So kudos, boys!

What description gets used for your band that you would most
like to correct people on? Why?
Our name is mispronounced by at least one other band at every show we’ve ever played. We’ve come to accept/love it. Usually we just call ourselves Potatoes, Potatoes. I’ve had a lot of debates with people about the correct pronunciation of the word Pathos. BUT the way WE pronounce it (be it right or wrong) is PAY-thos, as in pay us yo money, and oh my those potatoes are good (not ah my). This will either help tremendously or confuse people further. I’m happy either way.

What’s your favorite thing about being an Orlando band? What's your least favorite? Why?
Orlando is such a mini melting pot and it’s been so cool to meet so many amazing people in amazing bands. If you’re in a band from Orlando, chances are your music is good. Our favorite part of the Orlando music scene is the community. Everybody is so welcoming and people are always eager to hear new music or share music they think is good.

Any big news to share?
We’re releasing our new EP, Lucky Charm officially on 7/28! Our EP release party will be at Will’s Pub on 7/30 with some awesome bands! We’re also getting to press vinyl for our new record, so we're pretty stoked about that!
