Local comedian/hot dog hawker/lollipop mascot Big Tim Murphy is getting hitched this weekend. Well, not really, but he is throwing a wedding reception-themed comedy show party. Comics are set to deliver a series of speeches as if they were Big Tim’s best man or woman, so it’s kind of like a roast, but with more lies – just like a real wedding! You don’t have to dress up, but it would add to the ambience if you did.

3 p.m. Sunday; Will’s Pub, 1042 N. Mills Ave.; $5; willspub.org
