Southern gothic standouts the Goddamn Gallows play Will's Pub this week

Marrying undeniable energy, bluegrass/rockabilly/gypsy instrumentation and a predilection for the sinister side of Southern storytelling (doomsaying preachers, devils at crossroads, murder ballads, etc.), the Goddamn Gallows bring a hell of a show (pun intended) to Will's Pub this week. Last year's live album, Pullin' Teeth, recorded at Nashville's lauded "alt" venue, Exit/In, showcases the band's distinct sound, something like a backcountry Gogol Bordello wrapped up in psychobilly trappings. The openers for their show – comprising a multicultural ska band, an anarchist punk band and a rootsy one-man band – mirror their diverse influences. Sure to be good post-Best of Orlando afterparty.
