Group calling for Trump's impeachment puts up billboard near Mar-a-Lago

A new crowdsourced billboard was put up this week near President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

The billboard, which was erected Thursday, Aug, 31, by the group Impeach Trump Now, reads "No one is above the law. Not even the President," and features a URL to a petition at The group says the billboard was financed by hundreds of individual donations.

So far, Impeach Trump Now says roughly 1.2 million have signed their petition urging Congress to begin an impeachment investigation.

"The President is not above the law," said John Bonifaz, the Co-Founder and President of Free Speech For People in a statement. "He must be held accountable for his flagrant violations of our Constitution and for his abuse of power and the public trust. And, we must demand that Congress initiate an impeachment investigation now. Our democracy is at stake."

According to the Palm Beach Post, the billboard is located near Southern Boulevard and Interstate 95 and will stay up for four weeks.
