Orlando 7-Elevens offering free water Saturday while supplies last

Oh thank heaven for free, fresh H2O. This reporter is siding with Ray Hanson on the tap-vs.-bottled question, but if you prefer bottles and weren't able to get enough/any earlier this week, here's your chance. 7-Eleven stores in Orlando, Port Orange and Oldsmar will give away free water starting at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Also, let's not pretend this isn't also a chance to stock up on snack food so nonperishable it will last into the next century with the excuse of possible power outages. Where better to find your Fried Green Tomato Potato Chips, your canned JalapeƱo Cheddar Sauce, your Vanilla Butter Toffee Caramel Popcorn Clusters? Stay safe and sated, y'all.
