Hurricane Irma: Orange, Seminole counties issue 23 hour curfews starting Sunday at 7 p.m.

Orange and Seminole counties will be under a mandatory curfew beginning Sunday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m.

The curfew will last until Monday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.



"Persons are prohibited from being on public streets, highways, parks or other public places,"said the Seminole County press release. "Restrictions will be enforced by all law enforcement agencies throughout the county."

The curfew applies to everyone, with the exception of those searching for medical assistance, food, or emergency personnel.



Hurricane Irma's winds are expected to be at their peak Monday at 2 a.m.
