Aaron Carter – pop star and brother of Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter – will play a surprise engagement at Southern Nights this weekend.

The singer, who once beat Shaq in a pickup game, has had his share of personal troubles lately, and made headlines for coming out as bisexual last month, but hopes are high that this show will put the focus back on his music.

Aaron Carter hosts Flex Fridays and performs in some capacity at Southern Nights this Friday at 9 p.m. Performance is free, but tickets to the meet-and-greet are $20.
