This Saturday, Earl Brown Park in the adorable Stars Hollow-esque downtown of DeLand will be given over to the enjoyment of beer and bacon at the second annual Bacon & Brewfest.

Kicking off at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, this festival of indulgence features more than 30 breweries serving over 150 different beers in the park, and for those who don't love beer, they're also serving Bloody Marys made with Bakon Vodka.

Beer tastings go from 1-5 p.m., though adult beverages can be purchased up to 7 p.m. (to sip while hanging out watching the three bands). Several food vendors will be selling bacon-based dishes on site, and there's a bacon eating contest at 2 p.m. A portion of proceeds from food and drink sales will benefit the Neighborhood Center of West Volusia.
