Cassette Store Day is here again this weekend. The plucky lil' sibling to the better-known Record Store Day focuses its attention squarely on that unfairly maligned medium, the audiocassette.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, labels large and small around the country will releases exclusive tapes just for the day, and that includes prolific local tape label Godless America. The label is releasing a local-heavy cassette comp - Godless America Mixtape Vol. 4 - that sees Orlando residents like Bubble Boys, Broken Machine Films and Roomful of Strangers rubbing sonic elbows with the likes of R. Stevie Moore (!) and Dino Felipe.

Godless America releases their Mixtape Vol. 4 this weekend as part of Cassette Store Day, the tape can be purchased online or at participating local retailers (including Park Ave. CDs).
