Sheriff dash-cam films plane making emergency landing in Florida neighborhood

Yesterday morning a single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing in a Florida residential area and a local sheriff's dashboard camera caught the incident on film.

The video, which was posted to Facebook by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, shows the plane attempting to land on Keene Road in unincorporated Clearwater at around 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19.

Paramedics from Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department assisted the pilot and a passenger, who have not been identified. Remarkably, both people in the plane walked away without injury. Also, no bystanders were hurt during the crash landing.

It would appear that small planes going down in Florida isn't really that uncommon. Just a couple weeks someone was forced to land a plane on I-4 near Longwood during rush hour traffic.
