Earlier this year, the entire country got to find out what Orlandoans have known for a long time: Preacher Lawson is a star. The comedian made it to the Top-10 bracket of the 12th season of NBC’s hit competition show, America’s Got Talent. Lawson makes a homecoming appearance for the holidays at the Orlando Improv this week, including a special New Year’s Eve show. Luckily, he won’t have to share the bill with any kids or ventriloquists this time.

8 p.m. Thursday, 8 & 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7 & 9:45 p.m. Saturday, 7 & 10 p.m. Sunday | Orlando Improv, 9101 International Drive | 407-480-5233 | theimprovorlando.com | $22-$60
