Marvel Universe Live! swings into action at the Amway Center

While the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War may finally bring together all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s heroes into one big conflict with Thanos, the Mad Titan, fans can get a jump on witnessing some comic book crossover action at Marvel Universe Live! at the Amway Center this weekend. The live-action show, which combines stunt performers, fight choreography, special effects and pyrotechnics, brings together the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in an epic quest to prevent Doctor Strange’s Wand of Watoomb from falling into the hands of the evil trickster god, Loki. None of the X-Men make it into the cast – you’ll have to wait for that mega-purchase of Fox’s assets by Disney to go through – but at least they got an Iron Fist who actually knows some kung fu. Excelsior!

7:30 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m., 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. & 5 p.m. Sunday, 1 p.m. Monday | Amway Center, 400 W. Church St. | 800-745-3000 | | $25-$125
