Rapper David Banner will speak at the Zora Neal Hurston Festival this weekend

Renowned hip-hop musician, producer, activist and cultural critic David Banner will be making a very special one-off appearance in Orlando this weekend as part of the Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities.

Banner will sit down with NPR host Joshua Johnson ("1A") for what will no doubt be a very wide-ranging and no-punches-pulled conversation as the main event of "An Evening with David Banner." This is a big score for the venerable Hurston Festival.

The Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities presents "An Evening with David Banner" on (THIS) Saturday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. at UCF's Rosen College. Tickets start at $50 and can be found here.
