New Smyrna's Images art festival is worth the drive

Art transcends media. Every time we scroll down our social media feed we see various art forms, people living out their creative dreams in a space that builds connections across platforms. This weekend, New Smyrna Beach will have booths filled with individuals aiming to display their art to patrons and make some dough while doing so. Along with browsing everything from paintings to ceramics to woodcarving, attendees can participate in interactive exhibits with takeaway projects, or grab a bite to eat and catch some live music. This one’s worth the trip.

1-5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday | Riverside Park, 214 S. Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach | imagesartfestival.org | free
