Ernest Hemingway, Hunter S. Thompson and Jimmy Buffett, all known for their boozy tendencies, and all of which either lived or spent extensive time in the Florida Keys. Their infamously drunk habits would still fit in with the Keys today.

The Florida Keys currently has the highest percentage of binge drinkers than anywhere else in the state of Florida, reports WLRN. It should comes as no surprise the Keys claim to be a drinking town with a fishing problem, considering that just over 24% of surveyed adults admitting that they binge drink on a regular basis, according to a CDC report.

Orange and Seminole Counties fall about in the middle of the ranking, with roughly 18% admitting to binge drinking, says a study from County Rankings and Roadmaps.

According to the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, binge drinking is having roughly five drinks in under two hours for men and four for women.
