FUERZAFest Orlando kicks off three days of LGBTQ Latinx expression at Orlando Museum of Art

Coming in for its second iteration, FUERZAFest returns to Orlando this year to bring together Central Florida’s LGBTQ Latinx artistic community for a three-day festival. Sponsored by Hispanic Federation in the wake of the massacre at the gay nightclub Pulse, FUERZAFest will include discussion panels, a theater showcase, Latin American film screenings, an art exhibit and more from Wednesday to Friday, Feb. 7-9. The festival kicks off with a discussion Wednesday focusing on being a catalyst for action against homophobia, transphobia, racism and xenophobia. If you’re looking for an inclusive space to have those deep conversations about living in the intersections, it’s right here. See the website for a full schedule of events.

10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 | through Feb. 9 | Orlando Museum of Art, 2416 N. Mills Ave. | fuerzafestorlando.org | free-$20
