The synthwave artist behind the Kung Fury soundtrack, Pittsburgh’s Betamaxx, plays at Stonewall this week, months after a canceled show at Will’s Pub. Carlos Navarro and Waka Shame Black host a costume contest during the night, so wear your best ’80s-aping getup, whatever you think the ’80s looked like.

9 p.m. Friday; Stonewall Bar Orlando, 741 W. Church St.; $10; stonewallorlando.com.
