Nineties (and beyond) alt-rock godfathers Bush and Live have announced a big North American tour set for this summer dubbed the (ahem) "Alt-imate Tour." And though the bands won't pass through Orlando on this run, they will be playing nearby Tampa.

Bush and Live will be celebrating the joint 25th anniversary of their much-loved respective debut albums Sixteen Stone and Throwing Copper.

Bush and Live co-headline the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre with Our Lady Peace on Friday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale March 15.
