The retirement party for Orlando Fire Department Lieutenant Davis Odell is open to the public over at Johnny’s Other Side, and to celebrate, they’ve booked Damon Fowler and problematic country legend David Allan Coe. Coe has a checkered catalog, with some racially charged “comedy” songs that really haven’t aged well. But you’re definitely more likely to hear the outlaw sing “You Never Even Called Me by My Name” than call anyone else by any other names. For whatever that’s worth.

2 p.m. Saturday; Johnny’s Other Side, 1619 E. Michigan St.; free;
