After a 14-year drought for the University of Central Florida men's basketball team, they're finally headed back to the NCAA tournament.

Better yet, the team learned during Sunday night's announcement that they received an at-large invitation (the first time that's ever happened) and are seeded No. 9 in the East Region. The Knights will face off against No. 8 seed Virginia Commonwealth University on Friday in Columbia, South Carolina.

Though UCF has appeared in the NCAA tournament five times, the program has still yet to ever take home a win. If successful against VCU, the Knights will likely have to challenge the No. 1 overall seed Duke University in the round of 16, known among basketball fans as the "Sweet Sixteen."

Welcome back to the big dance, boys.
