Spooky Empire's spring iteration brings horror and sci-fi celebs to Orlando's International Drive

The convention so nice it happens twice – per year – returns to the Wyndham this weekend. Spooky Empire’s biannual convention brings together a nostalgia-inducing slate of celebrities for photo ops, autographs and panels, and fills in the margins with costume contests, nightly parties, a mobile tattoo parlor and plenty of merch. This edition’s slate features a reunion of the kids and mom from E.T., ’90s teen heartthrobs Christina Ricci and Fairuza Balk, and true Hollywood legend Christopher Lloyd.
Luckily, there’s no limited-edition Elvira Funko Pop this time, so riots should be kept to a minimum.
