Texas blues-rock hellions ZZ Top have been at it for a whopping 50(!) years and are heading out on the road later this year to celebrate in style. And Central Florida fans will have a chance to wish the bearded (and not) boys well live and in person. And as an added bonus, the touring opener is none other than Cheap Trick!

It should be noted that this Tampa date is the penultimate date of the tour, so you can expect the band to be road-tested and raucous. The Rock & Roll Hall of fame inductees started playing music together in 1969 and have a near-lifetime of hits to choose from for these show.

ZZ Top play the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on Saturday, October 19 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale April 12.
