Orlando's wily garage-punk veterans Golden Pelicans are poised to release their fourth album on underground legend (of Homestead and Matador Records fame) Gerald Cosloy's 12XU label, so what better excuse to head out on tour to road-test their new songs?

Golden Pelicans hit the wide open road tomorrow with their tour starting off in Charlotte, North Carolina, then stretching up to Rhode Island and back, with a WFMU live radio session along the way. As of this writing there's no local shows scheduled for the band, but they're certain to turn up onstage at Will's Pub or Uncle Lou's in the near future.
