The world’s only “Heavy Nedal” band, Okilly Dokilly take their name, appearance and even lyrics from Ned Flanders, the straight-arrow neighbor of Homer and Marge on The Simpsons. Sure, it’s a gimmick, but these Nederinos can actually play metal, and the Flanders quotes they use out of context certainly sound metal. And at least the band has tacit approval from the Simpsons team; Okilly Dokilly was featured on the show during the closing credits recently.
