Orlando Museum of Art explores the power of text as art in its latest after hours Night Shift party

  • Art by Susan Pelteson
Orlando Museum of Art’s series of after-hours art parties, Night Shift, continues this month with a focus on text. Diverse performances, installations and activities highlight the artistic power of the printed word in an atmosphere that’s more like a really classy nightclub than a museum. (It’s still definitely a museum, though. No touching!) Enjoy the cash bar and dance around the Chihuly in the rotunda to sounds curated by J.A.S.O.N. and Gay-Z.

7 p.m. Thursday; Orlando Museum of Art, 2416 N. Mills Ave.; $15; omart.org.
