Lizzo's Central Florida concert just got moved to a bigger venue

Lizzo's Sept. 10 concert at Jannus Live has been selling well. So well, in fact, that it's being moved to a bigger venue across the bay.

Today, Tampa's Yuengling Center announced that it will be the new home for the concert by the rising rap phenom and master flutist. Arena officials say that the move makes 5,000 additional tickets available, and that they’ll go on sale to fans on Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m.

Previously purchased tickets for the Jannus Live performance, in support of Lizzo's debut album Cuz I Love You, will be honored at the Yuengling Center performance where anyone who bought a ticket for the St. Petersburg show will be given floor access for the Tampa gig.

"Since Jannus is an all GA venue – all Jannus tickets will be honored at our show," Yuengling Center spokespeople told Creative Loafing: Tampa Bay. "They will be scanned and accepted all the same as if it was at Jannus. Previous buyers won't need to do anything with their tickets besides show up."
