This is happening! After some uncertainty last month about a show in Tampa, Chan Marshall's Cat Power went one better and scheduled another show in Central Florida, right here in the City Beautiful. Great news for Cat people, as fans of the band have been waiting to see Marshall and co. since the cancellation of her Plaza Live show a few years back.

Besides the announcement of a lengthy round of touring kicking off in June, Cat Power has also premiered a new single/video, "Horizon," from recently released album Wanderer.

Cat Power headline the Beacham on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $32.50-$50.
