Proving that poetry still exists in the world, AltMed Florida is set to open up their first medical marijuana dispensary in the area at a former Taco Bell in Longwood this week. The building has undergone an extensive renovation, with a press release describing it as "more like an Apple store now – with a modern open-concept design and expert staff."

Weed card holders will even be able to use the building's drive-through lane to pick up their THC & CBD-infused tinctures, vape pens, creams and other products. Sadly, no tacos or chalupas will remain on the menu.

AltMed Florida opens at 1o a.m. Friday, May 24, at 1090 S. State Road 434, Longwood.
