Memorial Day weekend means a lot of us get to enjoy an extra day off this weekend. Torque, the drum & bass party collective, capitalizes on that with a daytime party at the Henao Center on Monday. Groove to sets from the likes of Saxxon, Random Movement, DJ SUV, Spikey Tee and more while checking out live art and noshing on bites from Stuft Gourmet Foods – including empanada recipes from DJs AK1200 and Dieselboy.

2-10 p.m. Monday; Henao Contemporary Center, 5601 Edgewater Drive; $20; torquednb.com.
