Metal iconoclast Devin Townsend has been defying musical conventions for most of his life, notably through his heavy, challenging projects Strapping Young Lad and Devin Townsend Project. Townsend this year released perhaps his ambitious album Empath, and he's taking it on the road in 2020, with the only Florida show to take place in the City Beautiful.

Townsend promises sets that will tackle his entire musical oeuvre on this tour, including finally revisiting Strapping Young Lad material.

Devin Townsend, the Contortionist and Haken get heavy at the Plaza Live on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
